Minnesota is home to 17 Fortune 500 companies, 570 digital startups and has raised more than $1 billion in venture capital funding the past two years. In other words, we’ve Minnesota-niced our way to becoming the digital innovation leader in the Midwest.

Craig Pladson will highlight the many instances of digital innovation happening right here in our back yard. He’ll talk about why digital innovation is critical to business growth and brand building, as well as outline what you can do to make innovation happen faster.

Craig Pladson has spent his career driving digital innovation for brands like Cheerios, Purina, Land O'Lakes, Caribou Coffee, Boston Scientific, Mayo Clinic, ESPN, Best Buy, Johnson & Johnson, Laureate International Universities and more. All of this has been made possible by working for great companies such as GoKart Labs, General Mills, Colle+McVoy and Digital River.

Craig received his Bachelor of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in 2010. To continue his pursuit in education, he currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
