Health Care Track of the Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity
Thursday, April 11, 8:00 AM
The Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity is the largest diversity and inclusion conference in the country. Presented by the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in partnership with the Twin Cities Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, the conference’s purpose is to provide a compelling learning experience fostering business and thought leadership in workplace diversity and inclusion.
The health care track at the Multicultural Forum is planned by a national committee of individuals representing university medical centers, health care providers and advocacy groups. They select and create presentations to address the specific diversity and inclusion needs of the health care workplace.
The 2013 Health Care track consists of 3 sessions on April 11, including "Executives That Get It," by Fred Hobby, president, Institute for Diversity in Health Management, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association.
Visit the Multicultural Forum website for more information and registration.
Scholarships are available for students and employees of nonprofit organizations with budgets of $5 million or less. Scholarships are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be awarded until funds are no longer available.
