Physician Leadership Symposium to feature Maureen Bisognano of IHI
Tuesday, October 9, 5:00 PM
We would like to invite you to the 13th Annual Physician Leadership Symposium on October 9, sponsored by the William E. Petersen Endowment. This free event features Maureen Bisognano speaking on Leading Change: The Physician’s Role in Creating a New Health System.
The challenges faced in health care today are daunting. Clinical leadership is essential to designing a new health system that meets the goals of the Triple Aim – better care for individuals, better health for populations, and lower per capita costs. Join other health care and physician leaders for this timely presentation and discussion.
Ms. Bisognano, President and CEO, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), is a prominent authority on improving health care systems, whose expertise has been recognized by her elected membership to the Institute of Medicine and by her appointment to The Commonwealth Fund's Commission on a High Performance Health System. Ms. Bisognano advises health care leaders around the world, is a frequent speaker at major health care conferences on quality improvement, and is a tireless advocate for change.
