Get Connected: A Health Care UST MBA classroom discussion
Friday, May 16, 7:30 AM
Session Will Feature
Get Connected to the Health Care UST MBA. Our students are only on campus twice each semester. Don’t miss this opportunity to...
- Observe a classroom discussion first-hand,
- Meet faculty and staff of the Health Care UST MBA program, and
- Gain valuable insight into the health care financing policy debates.
During the second year of the program, students take 3 sequential electives:
- “Financing the Health Care System,” taught by Mark Fisher, CEO of Aspen Medical
- “Health Policy,” taught for former U.S. Senator, Dave Durenberger, (which includes a 3-day, Washington D.C. seminar)
- “Health Law,” taught by Ryan Johnson, JD, Fredrikson & Byron, P.A.
This will be a group discussion and policy briefing that combines how the students’ thinking has been influenced by the financing options discussed in Mark’s course, the exposure to the Federal policy debate and positions they heard in Washington D.C., and how that thinking might be developed in the law course.
