Distance Learning = Flexibility

Working professionals can meet their specific educational goals while balancing a full-time career and other personal commitments.  This is accomplished through an integrative approach that balances two powerful learning perspectives.

On-Campus Sessions

Two three-day sessions on our Minneapolis campus held every six months provide concentrated, face-to-face work with faculty and fellow students, building strong relationships and enhancing the entire learning experience.

On-line Coursework

Between campus visits, all coursework is conducted on-line.  This includes class lectures, assignments, exams and group work.  There are no set class times, so you can accomplish your coursework according to your own schedule - nights or weekends, between patients, meetings and family events - whatever works for you.  As you move through the program with your cohort, you will not be learning in isolation.  The on-line work is done collaboratively with your cohort colleagues.  This executive model allows you to not only learn from your faculty - but also from one another.

Online and Face-to-face

“I liked that the St. Thomas program combines online with on-campus sessions. I knew I would be motivated to do my best work if I would be meeting my fellow classmates and professors face-to-face.”
