Full-time UST MBA Assistant Directors of Admissions, Sandra Forsyth and Mary Lindberg have agreed to a head-to- head challenge!
You may be asking yourself, "What challenge?" Studying and taking the GMAT is challenging for any graduate student, at any age, at any time in their lives. These two Full-time UST MBA Assistant Directors have not only decided to study along with you but also compete against one another for the highest score.
The Competitors
Assistant Director Sandra Forsyth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies Education from Saint Olaf College. After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree, she pursued graduate work at Hamline University. In May of 2006, Sandra graduated with a dual Master of Arts degree in Management and Nonprofit Management. Sandra's recently completed graduate work makes her a very strong competitor.
Assistant Director Mary Lindberg graduated from Saint Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Economics. Since graduating in 2002, she has spent her time working in undergraduate admissions and financial aid office. Mary's background in Economics lays a quantitative foundation that may be favorable. Only time will tell how this competitor does in the head-to-head competition!
The Competition
To begin the GMAT competition, Sandra and Mary will take a practice GMAT exam. Neither candidate will have studied for the exam or researched the types of questions being asked on the exam. Their "bench mark" scores will determine a starting point for the competition.
As the competition moves forward, Sandra will be studying for the GMAT using ONLY books or printed materials. Mary will be using on-line tools, CD-ROMs or other electronic resources to study for the exam.
