Evening UST MBA
Course Schedules
The typical Evening UST MBA student completes the program in three to four years. Your studies must be completed in no more than seven years.
Following a typical schedule of two courses in both the fall and spring semesters, and with an occasional summer or J-term commitment, you can generally finish your degree in four years. An ample summer offering has allowed students willing to attend classes year-round to finish their degree in under three years.
Flexible enrollment options allow students to find the pace and schedule that fits best with their busy life and professional responsibilities.
Course Schedule
During the 14-week fall and spring semesters, most Evening UST MBA classes meet once per week. During the summer session, most classes meet once per week for 10 weeks from late May to August. J-term classes meet three nights a week for four weeks during the month of January.
While the class commitment is three hours per class per week (four hours in the summer), we estimate for each hour you spend in class, you will spend about two to three hours studying and preparing outside of class.
The majority of evening classes meet weeknights from 6-9 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday classes meet from 8-11 a.m. or 9 a.m. - noon, and a limited selection of all-day classes meeting on alternating Saturdays are also available. Summer courses meet weekday evenings from 5:30-9:45 p.m.
A unique option for students who may travel often for work or have other heavy weekday demands, some Evening UST MBA classes are offered in a weekend format at the Owatonna facility. Classes usually meet Friday evening and all day Saturday for four weekends during the semester (once per month). You can search class offerings and schedules for each term with the UST Class Finder search tool at www.stthomas.edu/classes/.
Classes are held in the metro area and southeastern Minnesota. We have campuses in Minneapolis and St. Paul and extension facilities in Bloomington, Chaska, Eagan, Maple Grove, and Owatonna. Evening UST MBA students may attend classes at any location.
