Business 200 Service Site Fair

The BUS 200 service Site Fair brings together area nonprofit organizations and UST students interested in learning more about the service opportunities available to them. All business majors and minors who have not yet completed their service learning should plan to attend.
More than 20 non profit organizations will be present, including the 2010 Gibney Award winners:
- Spare Key, which provides mortgage assistance for Minnesota homeowners with a critically ill or seriously injured child.
- Children's Safety Centers, which provides a supervised haven for children and adults during non-custodial parental visitsion.
- The Prop Shop, a nonprofit resale shop in Eden Prairie, which uses its proceeds to help local families in need and advances awareness of the widespread impact of poverty.
- St. Mark’s School, a K-8 Catholic school located in St. Paul.
Gibney Award winners from 2009 - AchiveMpls!, Faith's Lodge, Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Perspective Family Center, Inc., and Twin Cities RISE! - will be on hand, as will on-campus organizations such as Tutor/Mentor, VISION, VIA and Students Today Leaders Forever.
