- Consumer salesperson
- Sales manager
- Advertising manager
- Public relations manager
- Market research analyst
- Purchasing manager
- Retail buyer
- Inventory control manager
- International marketing manager
What You Study
The curriculum will prepare you for an exciting career in a business or nonprofit organization: creating and retaining profitable customers through activities such as marketing research, competitive analysis, determination of market potential, market segmentation, and target marketing.
How We Support Your Learning
As a Senior Marketing major, you will take the capstone course Marketing Management, which includes working with clients of the Small Business Institute (SBI). The SBI get you working with a member of the Marketing faculty and a student team to consult with small businesses to diagnose their business problems, then crafting and presenting a solution to the client.
Another opportunity is UST’s chapter of the American Marketing Association, where students socialize, listen to local marketing experts, and network with marketing professionals.
