The retirement of baby boomers has increased the need for senior housing and assisted living communities. Frank Lang, president of Lang Nelson Associates, Inc., will share his thoughts on the current issues and trends in property management, specifically in the area of senior housing.

The Real Estate Executive Insights Series is presented by the Opus College of Business MSRE program. This series invites speakers from the real estate industry to provide valuable information and discussion about hot topics and current trends. This program is free and open to the public.

Presenter Biography

Frank Lang

Frank Lang is CEO and president of Lang Nelson Associates, Inc., a real estate property management company that has been in the Twin Cities area for over 40 years. Lang Nelson Associates, Inc. is one of the larger wholly-owned multi-housing management companies in the state of Minnesota and has been involved in investing, developing and managing real estate including commercial office, multi-housing apartment communities, senior housing and assisted care communities.

Lang is an accredited Certified Apartment Manager and is past president of the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association and a past member of its board of directors. He has previously served as chairman of the Multi-Housing Legislative Committee and the Minnesota Apartment Council, for which he has also served as a trustee. Lang is also the proud recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association.
