Terry Kingston, executive director of investment sales at Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq, has sold billions of dollars of investment properties throughout his career and has been involved in many of the largest and most notable real estate transactions in Minneapolis and St. Paul. As an investment sales professional, Kingston markets investment real estate as more than just a commodity with passive value – rather, as a functioning asset with value that is affected by location and the way it is operated. Kingston will discuss the latest trends in commercial real estate investment and his outlook for future investment opportunities.

Presenter Biography

Terry Kingston

Terry Kingston was a principal and co-founder of Northstar Partners, a Twin Cities-based full-service commercial real estate firm acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in September 2007. Kingston joined CB Commercial in 1980 and became senior vice president after several years because of his volume of investment sales.

In 1992, he founded his own investment brokerage firm, First Capital, and quickly established himself as a market leader in institutional investment real estate services. As a result of his experience, Kingston has earned a reputation for insightful investment counsel. He  has served in industry and community leadership roles and has been a keynote speaker, panelist and program moderator for investment conferences and capital market updates.

Kingston holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota.
