Admissions Process

The admissions process begins upon the receipt of any of the application requirements. Application materials can be submitted as you complete each piece. We will track the completion of your full application, send you reminders about deadlines and will make an admissions decision approximately one week after all of the requirements have been received by our office.

Application Deadlines

The MS Degree in Real Estate accepts new students for either the fall or spring semester.

  • Fall term priority deadline - May 1 
  • Spring term priority deadline - October 1

In the case that there is space for additional students, we will continue to accept new students after the priority deadline.

Admissions Decisions

The MS Degree in Real Estate Admissions Committee reviews all components of the application in making admissions decisions.  We look for applicants who demonstrate a strong desire to become a leader in the real estate industry and characteristics that will make them well suited for the collaborative learning environment in the classroom.  Applicants display these characteristics through a combination of academic history, professional accomplishments, motivation to complete the program and proven ability to succeed in an academic environment.  

 

Admissions Deadlines

The Master of Science Degree in Real Estate has start dates each fall and spring. For priority consideration, application materials should be submitted by the stated deadline; applications submitted after the deadline will be considered if there is space available in the program.

Priority deadline for fall applications is May 1.

Priority deadline for spring is October 1.
