Empower your potential. The St. Thomas Master of Business Communication both deepens your communications skills and infuses them with business essentials.

The program covers core business concepts along with your choice of specialty electives for an integrated study of successful communication in the business world. In evening classes at our Minneapolis campus, you will learn from experienced faculty, as well as from students working full-time as communicators in an exciting breadth of industries.

Program Format

The Master of Business Communication is a part-time, evening program for communicators who want to expand their communication expertise while building core business knowledge.

Admissions Deadlines

The Master of Business Communication program reviews applications three times a year in August, January and April.

Upcoming deadlines:
August 1 for fall semester
January 5, 2009 for spring semester
April 15, 2009 for summer term

   

Not ready for a degree?

Students seeking a shorter, more specialized course of study may earn a certificate in one of four areas of concentration:

Marketing Communications
Public Relations
Business Writing
Management Communication

Certificate students complete six graduate courses including a minimum of three courses from their area of concentration and three other complementary courses from the curriculum.
