International Business Club
Mission
The International Business Club mission is to:
- Maintain strong ties between international and native born UST MBA students through the promotion of cultural awareness
- Identify and resolve issues specific to international students in the program; help international students adapt to a new environment
- Encourage students who are interested in international business to participate through social events
- Provide opportunities to network with leaders who have international business experience
Benefits of Membership in the International Business Club
The club plans to host culturally themed social events. We also plan to feature speakers with international backgrounds from the business community.
We will invite speakers who will be willing to:
- Speak on campus about their job experiences, their company and the unique challenges they have faced working as international students or individuals in American companies, as Americans working overseas or in international companies
- Participate in informational interviews with individual UST MBA students
- • Mentor International Business Club members as they progress in the program

- Career advice panel
- Thanksgiving dinner for international students
- One potluck per semester
- At least one panel per semester
- A fall scavenger hunt
- Panel with students that studied abroad in Hong Kong
