International Club

Mission

The International Students’ Club mission is to:

  • Help establish the UST MBA program as a premier program for international graduate students of business
  • Foster stronger ties between international and native born UST MBA students through the promotion of culture awareness
  • Identify and resolve issues specific to international students in the program
  • Provide opportunities to network with leaders and share valuable leadership strategies, experiences and ideas
  • Create a mutual assistance forum to assist international students function more effectively in the local community
  • Help international students adapt to English spoken environment and new local lifestyle

Benefits of Membership in the International Students’ Club

The Club plans to host culturally themed social events and also invite speakers of the business community with more emphasis on leaders with international background to build and create forum for engagement and enhance Cultural knowledge in the Global marketplace. 

We will invite speakers who will be willing to:

  • Speak on campus about their job experiences, their company, and the unique challenges they have faced working as international students/individuals in American companies, as Americans working overseas or in International Companies
  • Participate in informational interviews with individual UST MBA students
  • Volunteer in the community along with UST MBA students

  • Career advice panel for first year students
  • Feed my Children volunteering / community involvement
  • Host dinner during holidays in American students’ house for international students
  • Boat trip
  • BBQ / picnic at a local park
