Graduate Business Career Services frequently partners with Alumni Services to provide network events. Alumni and other members of the UST community are encouraged to attend and connect with professionals from a variety of Twin Cities companies.
Twice a year (once in spring, once in fall), GCBS holds a career fair in which numerous metro area employers meet with UST MBA alumni and students about openings within their organizations. A pre-approved résumé is required for attendance.
Master's Connection Networking Breakfasts
Leverage the alumni network and other connections St. Thomas has been building for decades at these regular networking events for students and alumni of the Opus College of Business graduate degree programs.
Sponsored by Graduate Business Career Services, our Master’s Connection breakfasts feature engaging speakers - often St. Thomas alumni - on topics in career and professional development.
The cost of the program is only $8 pre-registered or $10 at the door, and includes a continental breakfast.
Each meeting follows a similar schedule:
• 7:30 a.m. - Check-in and breakfast
• 7:45 a.m. - Guest Speaker
• 8:15 a.m. - Q & A
• 8:35 a.m. - Attendees may present a 30-second “personal commercial” about their skills and career interests
• 9 a.m. - Open networking
