Event Recap: The Catholic Identity of Catholic Healthcare Institutions

The Veritas Institute co-sponsored The Catholic Identity of Catholic Healthcare Institutions: Challenges and Opportunities within Germany and the United States, which took place at the Katholische Akademie Schwerte in Schwerte, Germany October 28-30, 2010. The gathering attracted numerous participants and presenters from Catholic healthcare organizations and academic institutions in both the U.S. and Germany, including Caritas Germany, the Catholic Health Association of the United States, Catholic Health Partners, and the University of Santa Clara.
