FastTrac®
FastTrac® is a series of lifelong learning entrepreneurship education programs taught over a 10-week period. Two classes are offered: FastTrac® NewVenture for start-up businesses and FastTrac® GrowthVenture for existing businesses. These programs are designed to build the skills to improve your chance for business success.
FastTrac® NewVenture
For Start-Up Businesses
In this program, you will develop a business concept and take it through each step of the business planning process. Through readings and research, activities and action steps, you will plan and analyze your entrepreneurial vision by creating a thoroughly researched and tested business plan.
FastTrac® GrowthVenture
For Existing Businesses
Through this program, you can strengthen your ability to make critical decisions and equip yourself with the knowledge and skills needed to improve the performance of your business. With FastTrac® GrowthVenture, you'll create a framework to determine the best way for you to grow your business.
Amy and John
After completing both the NewVenture and GrowthVenture programs, Amy Langer and John Folkstad successfully launched Salo, LLC. They were named "Emerging Entreprenreur of the Year" at the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Ceremony.
The Kauffman Foundation
Based in Kansas City, Mo., The Kauffman Foundation began sponsoring the FastTrac® program in 1993. It is offered across the country and has served nearly 300,000 entrepreneuers.
