"Perhaps unique in M.B.A. programs, ethics and values were an essential part of every course I took in the Evening UST MBA program. I value these ethical components, and am a better professional because of those experiences."
After completing a bachelor’s degree at St. Thomas, I truly valued the atmosphere and relationships that you can build as a St. Thomas student. The setting is about learning in an environment that is fully conducive to that goal. So it was a natural choice when I decided to pursue an M.B.A. I wanted to learn about areas of business that I had not studied as an undergraduate. It was also a great opportunity to apply my work experience and further develop my skills as a business leader.
The Evening UST MBA has taught me to think strategically and focus on the strengths that our organization has in a variety of ways. My ability to view challenges from a different perspectives has made my skill as a problem-solver that much stronger.
The faculty and staff also contributed to my education and growth. The student backgrounds were very diverse – everyone had experience in a variety of settings, and that has opened the door to many new learning opportunities. In addition, the faculty bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their teaching.
Perhaps unique in M.B.A. programs, ethics and values were an essential part of every course I took. I was put in situations while reviewing cases that better prepared me for true work experiences. I value these ethical components, and am a better professional because of those experiences.
