New Infusion of Graduate Business Alumni Board Members brings Exciting Changes

The 07/08 school year has marked a dramatic leadership hand-off on the Opus College of Business Graduate Business Alumni Board.  Formed in 2006, seven alums made up the original board.  In 2007 the group was quite active- penning a mission statement and by-laws in addition to the six events they planned.  By September of 2007, the original board members ended their terms and sixteen brand new members stepped up to lead.  They have continued to refine the board’s mission, surveying alumni to find out what’s important to them and planning events that appeal to diverse interests.  Over 500 alumni attend these events each year, making this a fantastic way for an alum to expand his or her circle of influence and move up in their career.
