About the Opus College of Business

Christopher Puto, Ph. D, Dean

Welcome to the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. Our primary goal is provide you with the knowledge and expertise to be a highly principled leader in the global business community, and we offer many exciting, relevant opportunities to get you there.

Our undergraduate degree combines elements of our traditional liberal arts core—a focus on the development of strong analytical and communications skills—with specialized business knowledge from one of several intensive concentrations. Students graduate prepared for a first job and for a career as a leader.

For graduate students, we have a broad array of programs to place you firmly on the fast track to success. Each is described in considerable detail elsewhere in this site, but here I will say that our Full-time UST MBA—one of the finest Full-time MBA programs in the country—offers a coordinated first-year curriculum for an unmatched understanding of the inner workings of today's complex and rapidly changing business environment.

Our three other UST MBA programs take that same educational experience and tailor it to specific lifestyles, industries and experience levels of the learners. Similarly, our MA and MS programs deliver professional certification and specialty expertise placed in a context of core business knowledge and professional polish—including communication, accountancy, and real estate.

Opportunities abound in the Opus College of Business—each just a "click" away. Explore our site and then come talk with us so that we can guide you to the program that takes you to your future.
