The Opus College of Business joins an elite group of institutions that have achieved business accreditation from Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). Fewer than 5% worldwide have earned this distinguished hallmark of excellence in management education. The Opus College of Business is one of only six accredited business schools in Minnesota and the only private accredited business school in the state.
The University of St. Thomas has maintained continuous accreditation by HLC since 1916. Institutional accreditation by the HLC, also known as regional accreditation, provides assurance to prospective students and other constituents that course credits and degrees earned from the institution meet quality standards of higher education.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society for students enrolled in business and management programs accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Election to lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest honor a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at a school accredited by AACSB International. Students, based on high academic achievement, and tenured business school faculty members are the only ones eligible for membership in the society.
