Peer Coaching
Stipend Application Instructions
With any Bush grant, faculty members may apply for a
small stipend if they plan to work with a faculty members who are experienced
in inquiry-based instruction.
Peer Coaching Stipends
A stipend of up to $500 per faculty member is provided for
each of an experienced and non-experienced faculty member, for one
semester. Faculty are expected to meet
about weekly, attending classes with a similar frequency, and discussing how to
best raise students’ higher-order thinking skills through Inquiry-Based
Instruction. Applicants should provide
a plan, a timetable, and some assessment measures.

Within three months
of my project’s completion date, I
agree to submit to Program Coordinator Vanca Shrunk (c/o Bush Grant Mail # JRC
432, idschrunk@stthomas.edu, 2-5740) a one-page description of Peer Coaching
activities during the semester. I
understand that submission of this final report is a prerequisite for any
future funding from UST’s Bush grant for Collaborative Inquiry.
