The University of St. Thomas has implemented a new version of its Enterprise Reporting Tool

The newly released 8.3 version of Cognos Business Intelligence contains many new features to help the UST reporting community deliver higher-value information for improved decision-making.

Enhanced report writing functionality and faster report run times make it easier for report authors to develop and deliver reports to the user community. New deployment and administration advances also make it easier for IT to deploy, administer, manage and monitor performance of the reporting environment.

IT launched this latest version of Cognos BI on Jan. 9, 2008. The upgrade from Cognos ReportNet to Cognos 8.3 BI has quickly garnered the support of UST faculty and staff

Training for Cognos 8 BI will be available through the Leadership Academy in the near future.
