Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer to speak at Westminster Town Hall Forum

The Westminster Town Hall Forum will present a lecture by Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer at noon today, Thursday, Sept. 25. Nelson-Pallmeyer teaches in the Justice and Peace Studies Department at the University of St. Thomas and recently ran as a candidate for the U.S. Senate.

Nelson-Pallmeyer will lecture on "Building a Movement to Rescue a Nation and Save the Earth" from noon to 1 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Nicollet Mall and 12th Street, in downtown Minneapolis.

The author of twelve books, Nelson-Pallmeyer has spent his life addressing the issues of poverty, racism and war. He holds a degree in political science from St. Olaf College and a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in New York.

Each Westminster Town Hall Forum is preceded by a concert at 11:30 a.m. and followed by a reception in the Great Hall and a small group discussion in the Bates Room.
