Today: Course
Reserves services for faculty
From UST Libraries
Do
you have an article you’d like students to read before
a class lecture? Do you need your students to watch a video and
don’t want to use precious face time? Are you interested
in using UST Libraries Course Reserves services and unsure of
how to get started? Course
Reserves allows instructors to make high-demand copies of books
(personal or UST-owned), articles, book excerpts (with
signed library copyright waiver), electronic medium (i.e., pictures
on CD), and audiovisual materials easily available in UST libraries.
In addition, articles, book excerpts, and pictures can be placed
on Electronic Reserve or on your Blackboard page. Why make photocopies
for 30 students when they can read it online?
For
questions, check out the Libraries Course
Reserves Web site,
or contact the Course Reserves staff nearest you:
Please
submit Course Reserves items at least seven to 14 days before
you need them to be available for your students. The beginning
of each semester is very busy for Course Reserves staff, so please
allow for material processing time.
