Senate candidate Al Franken to speak here Thursday

U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken will speak at noon Thursday, April 12, in the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium on the University of St. Thomas campus in St. Paul.

Franken will discuss his senate candidacy. A well-known satirist who has won five Emmy Awards, Franken was until recently host of Air America Radio's “The Al Franken Show.” He is known also for his work on “Saturday Night Live” and as the author of Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right.
