IRT to run daylight-saving time patches March 6-8

From Information Resources and Technologies

Information Resources and Technologies will make changes to the university's e-mail environment today, March 6, through Thursday, March 8, to run necessary patches for the upcoming daylight-saving time change.

You should not notice any change, but you may have to restart your e-mail software. If you are unable to access your e-mail during that time, reboot your computer, which will allow the patch to install completely and synchronize with the changes made on the servers. If problems persist after the reboot, call the Tech Desk, (651) 962-6230.

For more information on daylight-saving time impact on computers, please see the Feb. 27 Bulletin Today article.
