The program will host Charlotte Kinzley from Sharing and Caring Hands from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18,  in Room 315, McNeely Hall. Kinzley will talk about her work as a family advocate and spokeswoman for Sharing and Caring Hands, a successful charity founded by Mary Jo Copeland, as well as her work with Mary’s Place.

All students who are interested in philanthropy and the Student Legacy Program are invited to attend.

The Student Legacy Committee is made up of St. Thomas students who are interested in helping to ensure that their class will leave a legacy for future generations of Tommies. The goals of the Student Legacy Program are to increase student awareness of alumni programming and the importance of philanthropy, and, through an annual Student Legacy Campaign, to help each new St. Thomas class establish a fund that it will build on as the class progresses toward graduation. This fund allows each graduating class to leave a gift for future generations.

The Student Legacy Program can be followed on Facebook.
