The Physical Plant, along with API Electric, will shut down the power to most of the buildings on the south campus at 6 a.m. Saturday, July 31.

New electrical gear needs to be installed in McCarthy Gym and tied into the electrical loop. Buildings that will be affected by this power outage are: McCarthy Gym, Binz Refectory, Brady Education Center, Grace Residence Hall, Cretin Residence Hall, Loras Hall, Service Center, School of Divinity and St. Paul Seminary.

The power outage will last approximately 10 hours.
