Information Resources and Technologies will conduct upgrades to its central systems between 6 a.m. and noon Sunday, May 23.
This month’s change management event will include an upgrade to UST’s telephone system; consequently, the telephone system will be down periodically during Sunday’s maintenance period. Visit the IRT Alerts page for real-time updates on planned outages, unplanned outages and security alerts.
All central university technology resources may be affected Sunday while necessary servers are replaced, upgrades are installed and routine maintenance is conducted. Although the work is targeted at specific components of the central systems, the following UST resources may experience intermittent interruptions:
- BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES)
- Exchange ActivSync (EAS)
- Voicemail
- MailMarshal
- Lyris
- Blackboard
- UST Web

- Banner
- Optix
- R25 and Event Viewer
- Courseweb
- ReportNet
- Appworx
- Cognos
- Murphy Online

- Library databases
IRT hopes that this scheduled outage will result in minimal, if any, inconvenience and will communicate additional updates as needed.
