The University of St. Thomas football team has qualified for the NCAA Div III playoffs, and this Friday the team will depart for Monmouth, Ill.

The team will leave campus at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20. The departure spot has not been determined, but  the buses will load and depart from either Lot H or on Cretin Avenue.

The UST community is invited to look for the buses Friday morning and to send off the team with UST’s best wishes. Members of the campus community who come out to cheer on the team as it departs campus will receive a free championship tradition T-shirt.

“So stop by and support the team as it begins the quest for a national championship,” remaked Matt Gustafson, associate director of Campus Life.

The Tommies play at Monmouth College, which has held five opponents to three or fewer points this season.
