As an organismal biologist, I have done research on host-parasite interactions, poultry toxicology, and poultry nutrition. More recently, my focus has been laboratory curriculum for introductory courses, both biology majors and non-science majors. I am interested in how students learn/work together in small groups, especially using hands-on investigative techniques.
