| An examination of current concepts regarding the mechanisms, both genetic and epigenetic, underlying embryogenesis and metamorphosis in a wide variety of animal model systems and the experimental basis for those concepts. Laboratory work may include an experimental investigation culminating in a written report in scientific format based on that investigation and grounded in relevant primary literature. Four laboratory hours per week. Prerequisites: A minimum grade of C- in BIOL 204, CHEM 201 | ||||||
