BIOLOGY

The University of St. Thomas Department of Biology is seeking instructors to teach the following courses in 2008-2009:

Fall Semester 2008

• Diversity and Adaptation (first-year majors)
• Cellular and Molecular Biology (second-year majors)
• Comparative Anatomy and Physiology (upper division majors)

Spring Semester 2009

• Genetics, Evolution and Ecology (first-year majors)

• Global Ecology (second-year majors)
• Neurobiology (upper division majors)
• Immunology (labs only for upper division majors)
• Advanced Physiology (upper division majors)
• Advanced Topics in Cellular and Molecular Biology (upper division majors)

Responsibilities include both lecture and laboratory teaching. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or be an advanced graduate student. Previous experience teaching equivalent courses is preferred, but not required.

Applications should include a cover letter stating which position or positions are being applied for, a current C.V., and a statement of teaching philosophy.
