The Myriam Companions take a very active approach to helping women discern a vocation to the religious life. They are a group of young women who meet once a month - the third Thursday of the month - for dinner and joyful fellowship.
The Companions host a number of religious orders for visits with the St. Thomas Community. The religious orders are comprised of young vibrant women who share their experiences of religious life to our female students.
The Companions also organize trips called "Nun Runs" to visit religious communities throughout the country. Groups of women students who are discerning a vocation to the religious life travel across the United States, integrating themselves into a religious community for a day. These 10-day trips offer friendship and insight to the realities of religious life.
