Why did you decide to come to UST?

I wanted to major in Catholic Studies.

What does it mean to you to be selected as an Aquinas Fellow?

It is an honor of which I do not consider myself worthy.  I owe much of what I have done so far to the many men and women who have mentored me.  I feel that their good example and influence in my life has earned this reward, and I accept it in their name.

How will being an Aquinas Fellow help you disern and work towards your vocation?

By reminding me that each action, thought, and word brings me either closer to or farther from fulfilling my vocation, and it also helps bring others closer toward or farther from the fulfillment of thier vocations.

What advice would you give a student about discerning their vocation?

Listen very closely to the longings in your heart.  Seek to discover and develop the gifts that God has given you.  God puts desires in our hearts only to fulfill them.  He gives us gifts that we may use them to work in His vineyard, to harvest souls for the Kingdom of God.
