Latino Leadership Scholarships Due

2008 - 2009 Latino Leadership Scholarships application.

This scholarship is an opportunity for future leaders of the Latino community to acquire skills in their chosen profession and to understand their profession in terms of vocation to the Latino community.  Students double major in Catholic Studies and another field of their choice.  Applications are due to Dr. Bill Cavanaugh, Mail JRC 153.

2008-09 Aquinas Fellowship Nominations Due

Faculty and staff that would like to nominate a students for an Aquinas Fellowships must have the nomination to Laura Stierman on this date.  Aquinas Fellowships are awarded to students who will be juniors or seniors next year and who have demonstrated a religious understanding of the idea of vocation in their lives. These students are making an effort to discern God's call and to respond to that call in their studies, extracurricular work and career preparation. Aquinas Fellowships are awarded to students discerning a call to priesthood and religious life and to those pursuing a lay vocation of any type.

Call for Ireland Grant Proposals for Fall 2008

Ireland Fund for New Initiatives 

The Ireland Fund for New Initiatives encourages new programs and activities across the University that support the objectives of Beyond Career to Calling.  The grant provides one-time seed money for long-term projects that will be sustained and, ideally, institutionalized beyond the Ireland grant period by other sources of University or outside funding.
