St. Thomas charges admission to some varsity athletic events – football, hockey and basketball for men, and hockey and basketball for women. All other sports have free admission, unless it's a conference event or NCAA playoff game. Plus, St. Thomas students, staff and faculty are admitted free to football and basketball games with their school ID cards.
For football, tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students (age 5 and under free). For men's and women's basketball, tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students (age 5 and under free).
For hockey, the prices are set by the Saint Thomas Ice Arena, which collects the gate to offset arena operating costs. (In 2004-05 they were $5 for adults).
There are no advance ticket sales for any regular-season games. (Some postseason tickets are sold in advance). Football tickets go on sale and the gates open at noon for 1 p.m. kickoffs. There is ample room for standing-room admission, and no fans are turned away for football. Basketball and hockey tickets are sold at least 30-60 minutes before each game.
