Saint Thomas Academy and the University of St. Thomas entered a partnership in 2003 and built the 1,000-seat ice hockey arena on the STA campus in Mendota Heights, about 10 miles south of UST's St. Paul campus.
The facility, which sits on the north side of Interstate 494, is located on the south side of Mendota Heights Road, one mile east of Highway 55, across from the STA football and baseball fields. It's about five miles south of the Mendota Bridge. It's also one mile west of Dodd Road and Highway 149, which can be accessed from I-494.
To reach the arena from Interstate 35E, take 494 east, then take the first exit (149/Dodd Road). At the top of the cloverleaf exit turn right to the north. At the second stoplight (Mendota Heights Road) turn left and travel one mile to the arena on the left.

This 5,000-seat outdoor stadium, built in 1947, is the arena for St. Thomas football and track events. The all-weather, Olympic-caliber track has eight lanes and was resurfaced in 2004. A state-of-the-art FieldTurf synthetic surface was installed in 2004, and the playing field is named "Palmer Field" to honor the gift of former Tommie football player Bill Palmer and his family.
Adjacent to the stadium is the North Athletic Field, with a 500-seat collegiate baseball diamond which doubles as a football practice area, a throwing venue for track & field and a wide variety of intramural sports and physical education classes.
South Field is located just west of the intersection of Cretin and Grand Avenues, behind the Anderson Parking Ramp. The former grass field will be converted to a state-of-the-art turf field in summer 2013. The site is the home field for St. Thomas women's and men's soccer in the fall, and softball in the spring. The field is next to McCarthy Gym which includes soccer and softball locker rooms as well as an athletics training room.
