Equipment

The Visual Resources Library maintains a collection of equipment to aid in the capture, transfer, and storing of digital images and digital video.

Equipment is for departmental use only. Special arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the curator.

Equipment Use

A sign-out sheet is posted near the equipment. Cameras and other items each have an inventory number. Please fill out the sign-out sheet as completely as possible, noting name, date of checkout, and inventory number(s) of equipment borrowed. When finished, please mark the date of return on the sign-out sheet and note (yes or no) if the images were downloaded and the memory card cleared. Please return the equipment to its proper place in the cabinet. Please inform the curator of any problems with the equipment.

The library also has an LCD Projector available for check-out. Please sign-up to use the projector on the monthly sheet posted near the projector with your name and the approximate length of use.
