ART ATTACK

Check back for details on next meeting.

Art Attack is a student-run art and architecture club whose membership is students who enjoy exploring the local art scene. They visit local galleries, museums and lectures as well as work on community service projects and fundraising. Last spring they collaborated with the other ACTC art clubs to form MOSAIC (Minnesota Organization of Student Artists in Collaboration), and traveled to Chicago to explore the art and architecture as well as the the Art Institute. This collaborative efort earned them the STARGazer Award. This Spirit of St. Thomas award is given to a club that has demonstrated creative, inclusive and visionary thinking in their programming during the academic year. This year the students have volunteered with the annual Multi-Campus Gallery Crawl, visited the Russian Museum of Art and the First Thursdays at the Northrup King Building. They are hoping to plan a spring art trip. They welcome new members - contact Rachel Hoffman, rehoffman@stthomas.edu to learn more.
