From the June 29, 2005 Press Release:

MINNEAPOLIS - From pictures of the Beatles 1965 performance at Metropolitan Stadium to candid shots through the haze of a recent Snoop Dogg performance, Musicapolis captures 40 years of memorable music. Musicapolis explores Minnesota music scene at the intersection of photography and live music.

"Since the 1960's, the Twin Cities has nurtured a vital and influential music scene with periodic flashes that sent sparks across the country -- and sometimes the world," said Musicapolis lead curator Colleen Sheehy. "The Musicapolis collection isn't meant to be an all-encompassing encyclopedia, but instead presents the highlights and high points of 40 years of music, as seen through the work of 18 artists in over 200 prints."
