This alumni group grew organically as graduates of the Art History masters program began meeting informally to share their experiences and discuss opportunities in the local visual arts community. Formally aligned with the Art History Department in 2005, Alumni Masters is coordinated by a pair of volunteers and meets 6 times a year at gatherings planned by each of the members in turn. Additionally, the group seeks to be of service to current students and works with the Graduate Program Manager to plan events such as the Masters' Degree Preferred career symposium and resume writing workshops. Please forward questions and ideas for this group to gradarthist@stthomas.edu.
In 2005, Art History Alumni Masters purchased Stella Ebner's watercolor Library I in memory of our teacher Dr. Mary Towley Swanson, who founded the Graduate Program.
