This exhibition features the production of seven artists who have chosen to work with the ancient materials of sand, stone, clay and glass, and who deal with them in ways that could not have been imagined previous to modern times. Sometimes, a technique or an image might seem familiar, and yet the artist has seen them with fresh eyes, interpreting them with respect for the traditional media, but with an aesthetic that is purely their own and very much a part of the 21st century.
