Faculty Steps for Short-Term Off-Campus Program Proposals

UST-sponsored fall-embedded 2013 and January 2014 Proposals
Deadline to submit to ARCIE:  Monday, October 22, 2012

  1. Consult with your department chair and dean prior to submission of a proposal.
  2. Click here to view or download an updated proposal form.
  3. Develop and/or revise proposal.
  4. Submit proposal by October 1 for ARCIE pre-review comments.
  5. Obtain department chair's signature.
  6. Obtain your dean's signature. Be sure to submit to your dean in time for him or her to read and approve your proposal.
  7. By October 22, submit to ARCIE (c/o International Education, 44 N. Cleveland, St. Paul Campus) the original proposal with signatures; email final document to arcie@stthomas.edu.

UMAIE-sponsored January or June Term 2014 Proposals
Deadline to submit to ARCIE:  Monday, October 22, 2012

  1. Consult with your department chair and dean prior to submission of a proposal.
  2. Click here to view or download an updated proposal form.
  3. Develop and/or revise proposal.
  4. Submit proposal by October 1 for ARCIE pre-review comments.
  5. Obtain department chair's signature.
  6. Obtain your dean's signature. Be sure to submit to your dean in time for him or her to read and approve your proposal.
  7. Submit to ARCIE (c/o International Education 44 N. Cleveland, St. Paul Campus) by October 22 with original proposal; email final proposal to arcie@stthomas.edu.
  8. Proposals approved by ARCIE will be forwarded to the UMAIE Board of Directors.
  9. UMAIE Board of Directors will review and approve programs in early December.

  1. Consult with your department chair and dean prior to submission of a proposal.

  3. Develop and/or revise proposal.
  4. Submit proposal by April 1 for ARCIE pre-review comments.
  5. Obtain department chair's signature.
  6. Obtain your dean's signature. Be sure to submit to your dean in time for him or her to read and approve your proposal.
  7. By April 15, submit to ARCIE (c/o International Education, 44 N. Cleveland, St. Paul Campus) the original proposal with signatures; email final document to arcie@stthomas.edu.
