ARCIE – The Academic Review Committee for International Education

ARCIE was established at the request of the faculty in 2000, “To review and decide upon approval for all UMAIE courses, all St. Thomas-administered and St. Thomas-faculty directed international courses and programs, as well as other courses and programs administered by International Education.”

Important Notes for Faculty – Fall 2009

1. Remember to consult with your department chair and dean to gain consent to submit a proposal.

2. UST-sponsored programs offered three times, with appropriate approvals, will carry “Ongoing” status. Faculty/departments are required to submit a Letter of Intent rather than a full proposal.
