‘Guitar Heroes’ battle for prizes
Guitar Hero, the popular video game, became a competitive sport March 9 at Koch Commons when 14 students competed in a St. Thomas Activities and Recreation sponsored tournament. The guitar battlers limbered up their fingers, strapped on their plastic axes and attempted to shred their way to the grand prize of a $100 Best Buy gift card and full-scale faux rock stardom.
