Homecoming-Reunion Weekend Schedule of Events
November 7 - 9, 2008

Come back to campus to join fellow alumni and the St. Thomas community for all the traditional homecoming festivities, including the annual parade, Taste of Saints tailgate food festival and the football game against Bethel.

Saturday, November 8

Homecoming Parade
10:30 a.m.

Alumni and their families are invited to watch the homecoming parade along Summit Avenue.


Taste of Saints
11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sponsored by the Student Alumni Council and the Alumni Association, this food festival takes place in the lower quad with more than 40 student organizations selling food. There will be childrens activities, a beer garden, live music and plenty of time to join classmates for reminiscing.

While at Taste of Saints, be sure to visit the African-American alumni hospitality tent, a new venue that celebrates our diversity. Co-sponsored by the African-American/African Alumni Partnership, the Office for Institutional Diversity, and Multicultural Student Services, the tent will feature activities designed to welcome diverse groups of alumni back to campus.

Football Game
1 p.m.

Palmer Field at O'Shaughnessy Stadium

The bleachers will be packed with Tommies of all ages to cheer on the St. Thomas football team. Class members from the reunion classes of '68, '78, '88 and '98 are invited to watch the game from the reserved seats on the Morrison Hall patio.

Young Alumni Gathering
4 pm.
Plums Neighborhood Grill and Bar
480 Snelling Ave. S., St. Paul

Meet fellow alumni and learn about upcoming Young Alumni events. Enjoy free appetizers and drink specials.


Reunion Weekend Memorial Mass
5:30 p.m.

Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas

Mass will be said for deceased classmates from the classes of '68, '78, '88 and '98. Father Dennis Dease, president of St. Thomas, will be the celebrant.
