Major Gregory Voth

Asst PAS/Commandant of Cadets

Major Gregory W. Voth is the Commandant of Cadets for Air Force ROTC Detachment 410, University of St. Thomas, St Paul, MN.  He is responsible for educating and training students from among fifteen universities and colleges for commissioning into the Air Force as second lieutenants. 

Maj Voth received his commission from AFROTC Det 410 at the University of St. Thomas in May 2000. His assignments have included duties as an intelligence officer at Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan and acquisition program manager at the Ogden Air Logistics Center and the Air Armament Center.  While at Kadena AB he supported missions for OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM – PHILLIPINES and deployed to support OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.  After transitioning into the acquisitions field Maj Voth led programs upgrading avionics systems in the A/OA-10, managed logistics support for the P-5 Combat Training System, and led development of the Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System.  During this time he also deployed to Afghanistan where he led procurement of all uniforms, boots, and individual equipment for the Afghan Army and Police forces as Chief of Local Acquisitions, Uniforms Branch, Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan.
