Undergraduate Admissions

Will my credits transfer?

The best way to determine how your credits will transfer to St. Thomas is by having an unofficial degree evaluation completed on all your college/university course work.  This initial assessment is not binding, but it will give you a good idea of your academic standing.  You will receive an official degree evaluation after you have applied and been accepted to St. Thomas.  Your official degree evaluation will list the credits that have been accepted by the St. Thomas registrar, and will inform you of the remaining graduation requirements needed to complete your bachelor’s degree at St. Thomas.

You can have an unofficial degree evaluation completed by either:

·         Contacting the admissions visit office to arrange for an on-campus appointment

·         Sending copies of all unofficial transcripts to your personal transfer counselor

In order to get the most out of the unofficial degree evaluation, please bring/submit an unofficial transcript from each college or university you have attended.

The University of St. Thomas will accept only transferable* coursework in which you have earned a grade of C- or higher.

The following credit equivalencies will be used to translate quarter credits to semester credits:
